This fictional community inhabits the Ball Theater by preparing a party. Rounds, waltzes, folk dances, tarantellas, tangos... These dances evoke forces of nature, other living beings, geological cycles, meteorological phenomena, catastrophes and upheavals of the world.
SCHEDULE
Rehearsal : 22-23 July, from 10 am to 7 pm.
Over the days, inside the French Pavilion, the residency is a work-in-progress performance where the public is invited to take part to the research, based on a series of participative dancing workshops. It combines research practices with creative practices specific to theater, music and dance. It offers to the public three complementary experiences: a session of practical workshops open to all in the morning, a walk through a research laboratory / rehearsal space in the afternoon.
