ASAC Biennale  Historical Archives of Contemporary Arts 

Artistic Fund 

This collection gathers the works of art that the Biennale has acquired during the course of its activity. These include paintings, sculptures, graphic works and stage design sketches, collected and conserved by the ASAC.

Italian and foreign artists, famous and less renowned, over time have left the works they presented for the Visual Arts Biennale. Silkscreen works and multiples have been created during workshops organized by the Biennale, which commissioned sketches by artists for stage designs and drawings of costumes to present for the various editions of the Contemporary Music or Theatre Festivals.

The fund includes 2,515 works, all of which are inventoried and catalogued.

The fund search tools are:

- a digital database that allows browsing by fields or key words;
- a printed alphabetical catalogue by artist;
- a technical description of the works.
