Best photograph of the 13th International Architecture Exhibition
Article 1 – On the occasion of the 13th International Architecture Exhibition, the Biennale di Venezia announces an international photographic competition aimed exclusively at professional photographers accredited by the press office at the 13th Exhibition, the subject of which is the 13th International Architecture Exhibition, Common Ground, directed by David Chipperfield.
Article 2 – The Exhibition may be photographed for the purposes of the competition from 27 August 2012, being the first day of the vernissage of the 12th Exhibition, to 4 November 2012.
Article 3 – The registration of photographs can be effected between August 27 and 4 November, 2012, indicating in the e-mail: name, surname, address, tax number, email, date of birth and telephone number of the photographer. The photographs entered for the competition must also bear the name of the work shown and the date of the photograph.
Article 4 – The photographs must be sent in .jpeg format (maximum size 1 Mb) with the acquittance (download) duly completed and signed to the e-mail address: email@example.com.
Article 5 – Competitors are limited to one photograph each. Group works are not permitted. Photographs that are damaging to the dignity of others will not be accepted.
Article 6 – The photographs sent correctly shall be judged by a jury composed of the President of the Biennale and two experts.
Article 7 – The 3 best photographs will receive certificates from the Biennale di Venezia during a dedicated ceremony.The 3 best photographs prize-winning will visible at www.labiennale.org. Other special mentions may be made. The result of the selection will be published on the www.labiennale.org site.
Article 8 – All personal details will be processed in conformity with the dispositions of Law 196 of 06/03/2003 and all successive modifications and additions.
Article 9 – Participation in the competition implies the acceptance and respect of all the articles contained in the present competition rules and of the unimpeachable judgment of the jury. The Biennale shall have the final decision as regards everything not specifically mentioned in these regulations.
