For the third year the Italian Ministry for the Cultural Heritage and Activities presents iMiBAC Cinema VENEZIA, a product coordinated in collaboration with la Biennale di Venezia, created and developed by Artchivium, specifically for Italian and international movie enthusiasts.
The success of the past edition earned iMiBAC Cinema VENEZIA, the first institutional application for smartphone devoted to the world of the cinema, the Web Italia Prize as best App of the year.
With more than 120,000 downloads iMiBAC Cinema VENEZIA is the indispensable guide to the famous Venice Film Festival, allowing users to discover the entire catalogue of the event and all the extra multimedia content, read about the history of the great festival and its stars, purchase mobile tickets for the showings and save time in accessing showings, as well as finding many useful tips on tourist services available at the Lido and exploring the Venetian locations where memorable sequences were filmed.

• Timeline of the 80 years of the Film Festival: the winners of the top prizes from 1932 to the present. The Golden Lion, the Volpi Cup and the finest pictures taken from the Historical Archives of the Venice Biennale (ASAC).
• Special 69: all the news about the Film Festival in a rich database with the biographies of the stars, the plots of the films competing in this edition, and an agile theme-based search engine.
• Mobile Ticket: book and pay for your ticket via smartphone using your credit card, for all the films in competition.
