The films are:

The Harvesters by Etienne Kallos (South Africa – France), which was among the projects selected for Final Cut in Venice 2017

Final Cut in Venice

The call for projects of the 6th edition of Final Cut in Venice (1-3 September 2018) is now open: the application deadline (a working copy of the film must be sent on DVD or by link) is June 22, 2018.

The call for projects will be presented in Cannes at Les Cinémas du Monde (Pavillon n°109, Village International), on Saturday, May 12 at 6:30 pm.

Final Cut in Venice is the La Biennale di Venezia project that has been providing since 2013 concrete support to complete films coming from African countries and from Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria, as part of the Venice Production Bridge of the Venice International Film Festival.

The Final Cut in Venice workshop is, along with the Venice Gap-Financing Market, one of the projects launched by the Venice Production Bridge of the Venice International Film Festival, directed by Alberto Barbera and organized by La Biennale chaired by Paolo Baratta.

The next edition of the workshop will take place from 1 to 3 September 2018. Rules and registration available on the website, www.labiennale.org.
