The 10th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia has been a great success among the public
· during the 71 Exhibition days in Venice, the Shows at the Padiglione Italia, Giardini and Arsenale, closed on November 19th 2006, Cities, architecture and society, Cities of Stone, and The New City. Italia - y- 2026. WELCOME TO Vema (at the new Italian Pavilion) attracted 127,298 visitors
· during 31 Exhibition days in Palermo the four Shows set up in three different venues until January 14th 2007, City-Port, attracted 2,928 visitors
· Total number of visitors at the 10th International Architecture Exhibition from its opening to November 19th 2006:
- 130,226 people
- furthermore 91,000 visitors at the exhibitions of 12 countries displayed within the City of Venice
- and 104,000 visitors at the 11 collateral events
Venice, 20th November 2006 – Yesterday, Sunday the 19th November, it was the last day of the Venetian displays of the 10th International Architecture Exhibition, which has been a great success: as of yesterday, the Biennale venues in Venice and Palermo (where the exhibition will be open until the 14th January 2007) have totalled 130,226 visits.
From the 10th September to the 19th November, 127,298 people have visited the international exhibitions in Venice, at the Padiglione Italia and at the Arsenale, including Cities, architecture and society, Cities of Stone – organized within the project Sensi Contemporanei with the participation of the Apulia Region –, as well as The New City. Italia - y- 2026. WELCOME TO Vema at the new Italian Pavilion.
2,928 people have visited the four City-Port displays – organized within the Sensi Contemporanei project with the participation of the Sicily Region –, which have been set up in three different venues in Palermo and will be open until the 14th January 2007.
Furthermore, 91,000 people have visited the exhibitions of 12 different countries set up in the historical centre of Venice and 104,000 people respectively have visited the 11 collateral events.
