Degree Zero

The Degree Zero project, a part of the Dance section of the Venice Biennale, started up in 2009. The first step of the activity ran 30th March to 30th June with Arsenale Danza, the new training center directed by Ismael Ivo. Then, from 20th to 30th June, a series of shows and performances took place in the Arsenale venues, including the world premieres from the Michael Clark Company and from Ismael Ivo.
The second step of Degree Zero is now being prepared: this will lead to the 7th International Festival of Contemporary Dance that is scheduled to run in 2010.
