Location of the exhibition space: located between St. Mark’s and the Arsenale, Palazzo Malta has belonged to the Order of San Giovanni, or of Malta since 1200. The complex has recently been renovated and includes several different facilities (halls, courtyard, church aisle, garden, etc.) that may be used for the exhibitions.
The overall floor surface amounts to approx. 3800 sq.m. (halls: 310 sq.m.; courtyard: 440 sq.m.; church: 290 sq.m.; patio: 260 sq.m.; garden: 2500 sq.m.)
How to get there / Transport of the works of art: at a short walking distance from St. Mark’s Square and Riva degli Schiavoni. Actv vaporetto lines 2, 4.1, and 5.1 (stop: San Zaccaria). Load/unload of the artworks at Rio S. Antonin.
Facilities: double water access with pier, audio/video projection system, electrical system, heating and air-conditioning, fire prevention system, alarm system.
