Description

Future School converts the Korean Pavilion into a time-based performative platform where leading thinkers and engaged citizens from around the world assemble to focus on three critical subjects: diaspora, climate crisis, and innovation. An incubator for radical thinking, Future School reimagines the archetypal educational institution as a site for process, connection, and exchange — a meeting place to address imminent global challenges. Future School participants are invited to engage in acts of unlearning and relearning through workshops, lectures, performances, and exhibitions. Parallel programming runs concurrently in Seoul for all 25 weeks, with regular live broadcasts between campuses and beyond: a forging of multiple solidarities through imaginative speculation.
