The Arsenale della Danza opens the activities of the Dance section in 2010: masterclasses in the program continue until 30th May. Coming up on Friday 12th March the fourth event in the Open Doors series: José Navas will talk, with Daniel Léveillé and Sophie Corriveau, about contemporary dance in Québec (Teatro Piccolo Arsenale, 6 p.m., free admission).
The new choreography by Ismael Ivo, Aria, will bring to an end the Arsenale della Danza 2010 opening at the same time the next Festival (May 26th > June 12th, 2010).

Open Doors / Outdoors
On Friday 12th March, José Navas will talk, along with Daniel Léveillé and Sophie Corriveau, on the theme of contemporary dance in Québec, as part of the Open Doors series (Teatro Piccolo Arsenale, 6 p.m., free admission). On 13th and 14th March, a workshop-performance with three dancers of the Arsenale della Danza and Ismael Ivo at the Teatro Fraschini at Pavia, as part of the Outdoors series.

Arsenale della Danza
The Arsenale della Danza is a a centre for advanced training in contemporary dance and a multifunctional space for artistic production: an open working venue allowing for the interaction between dance and other disciplines, in which selected young dancers become the players in a process of choreographic creation in all its aspects, before the final test in front of the international public of the Biennale.
