Biennale College Musica: audition for young singers

La Biennale di Venezia, in the context of the College Musica project, will select young singers aged 35 or less for the production of four short chamber operas that will be premiered on 7th October 2018 in Venice as part of the 62nd International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The voices to be selected include:

• 1 Baritone
• 1 Tenor
• 2 Sopranos
• 1 leggero Tenor
• 1 lyric Baritone
• 1 lyric leggero Soprano
• 1 lyric or dramatic Tenor
• 1 lyric or baritone Tenor
• 1  Bass-baritone

Applicants must send the following documentation to college-musica@labiennale.org by 8th April 2018:

• Curriculum Vitae;
• Link to video(s) with applicant performing two works, of which at least one must be modern or contemporary repertoire (recordings may be homemade);
• 2 recent digital photographs (a medium close-up and a medium long-shot).

Eligible applicants will be summoned by 12th April 2018 for the audition set to take place in Venice on 18th and 19th April.
