Director’s Statement
With a tiny budget I managed to transform the hills near Angono, a town near Manila, into the vast and wild steppes where Temujin managed to unite the tribes in a war under his leadership. I had to use the most ingenious tools: trolleys as dollies, truck headlights as lighting and homemade wigs and costumes. (Manuel Conde)
