IX Mostra internazionale d’arte cinematografica (1941)
1941: one of the divas that year was Luisa Ferida, star of The Iron Crown, that would win the Coppa Mussolini for Best Italian Film. The other awards, says the announcer, go to “Augusto Genina, for The Siege of the Alcazar, Amedeo Nazzari, who won an award for his performance in Caravaggio. Alida Valli won the award for her performance in Old-Fashioned World. The producer Scalera won for S.O.S. Submarine.”
