Vessels for Liminal Dialogues, filmed within the landscape of Tenjo in Cundinamarca, witnesses timeless Indigenous traditions of co-creating habitat that reveal how “building” is an inherently collective process. Reflecting on how “Casas de Pensamiento” (“Houses of Thought”)—the material, energetic, and spiritual focal points of community life—are envisioned and constructed, Vessels for Liminal Dialogues proposes the act of building as a physical manifestation of our interconnectedness, teaching us about the true meanings of reciprocity, regeneration, and sustainability. The two-channel video installation is contained within a dome covered by earthen plasters holding a woven sculpture as a centrepiece.
