GUIDED TOURS

Venues: Giardini della Biennale and/or Arsenale
The guided tours for lower secondary schools include an introduction to the 19th International Architecture Exhibition, Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective, a tour of the Installations in the main Exhibition combined with a selection of National Participations at the Giardini and/or a tour of the Corderie and Artiglierie of the Arsenale that includes a short introduction to the National Participations. The activity will last a total of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

STORYTELLING TOURS

WALKING TOUR – The Magic Square
Venues: Giardini della Biennale and/or Arsenale
A creative writing workshop. With the help of a “Magic” square of paper the students will be stimulated to create original stories and content. The activity includes an introduction to the Exhibition, a workshop to outline the story and time dedicated to writing it, and will end with a reading of the works by the groups.

TOURS WITH EDUCATIONAL WORKSHEETS
from 30 September to 23 November
Venues: Giardini della Biennale and/or Arsenale
The tour of the Exhibition is conducted with the support of educational worksheets. The students are first introduced to the main themes; they are then divided into groups and invited to analyse a specific project independently, supported and guided by in-depth educational worksheets structured to facilitate a more active engagement with the projects in the Exhibition. The workshop ends with a final session in which each group illustrates the project they explored to their coursemates for a moment of shared discussion and reflection.

ARCHITECTURE AND SCIENCE
from 1 - 15 October
Drops of statistics: Data on water
Venue: Arsenale
The workshop introduces the students to Agenda 2030, focusing specifically on the goal of water sustainability. Through hands-on activities and guided discussions, the students learn to build meaningful indicators to analyse complex phenomena and understand their limitations. They will create maps and charts to visualise regional differences. The workshop concludes with the design of a collective crossword puzzle, conceived as a participatory exercise to re-elaborate the concepts they have learned and consolidate the glossary they acquired throughout the activities.

Ecosystems at play: between mathematics and nature to build balance
Venue: Arsenale
The workshop proposes team-based games in which the students engage with and actively explore the fundamental concepts of ecological balance, interspecies relations and environmental dynamics. The participants will collaborate to design an ecosystem developing shared strategies and creative solutions, and reflecting upon the consequences and variations determined by random events to achieve the required balance. The workshop stimulates logical-mathematical thinking, deductive reasoning and the capacity for discussion, and promotes concrete reflection on the importance of balance in real-world ecosystems.

IMMERSIVE INTELLIGENS // INTELLIGENT TOURS
Series of tours and workshops scheduled in the context of “Intelligent Venice The Oldest City of the Future” Special Project of the Fondazione Venezia World Capital of Sustainability / Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) for Biennale Architettura 2025
from 30 September to 23 November
Intelligens//Intelligent
A thematic programme that combines a visit to the 19th International Architecture Exhibition, Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective with the presentation of one of the main installations of “Intelligent Venice – The Oldest City of the Future”, a tribute to the ingenuity and capacity for innovation of the city of Venice. An immersive journey through the urban transformations on display at the Exhibition which leads into the history of the city on the lagoon, the only city of its kind in the world, memory of the past yet projected into the future through innovation.
From 21 - 31 October, visitors can register for the workshop Venice, Intelligent Knowledge for a Sustainable Future by entering the request in the notes field.
Venue: Arsenale
The workshop explores how the integration between natural and artificial intelligence can guide humanity toward a sustainable future, starting with an immersive installation about environmental impact. Through hands-on experiences and historical considerations on Venice’s resilience, the participants are invited to rediscover the connection between knowledge, daily actions and the health of the environment.

Following an hour-long visit to Biennale Architettura the young students will enjoy the experience of a workshop about Music, under the guidance of musicians.
