Commento dell'autore

Médail Décor is the third and last episode in a series of productions titled Serendipity: or how to get to a place, taking a direction you discover when you want to go somewhere else. It happens in Sus à la Bibliothèque ! and Les Protragronistes, the first two productions by the company, created respectively in 2011 and 2012.
The pièce is built around two presences that share the stage: the figure of the performer and that of the author-narrator. The dancer Lorenzo De Angelis can also be listening to what is being said, he can physically dub the text, give a body to characters or even melt into the landscape. The pièce is organized around the concept of double and the various meanings that derive from it: double, dub, doubling. These themes run through the pièce both in the figures incarnated by Lorenzo and in the context of the texts. The writing offers a return to the restless zones of childhood, adolescence, when what surrounds us becomes more real, increasingly less fictional. The shock produced by this realization generates arcs of tension, sinks the individual into complex spheres. Each person then builds himself as he can, oscillating between metaphysical doubt and quirky behaviour.
