Description

In order to address Mexico’s multiple realities, this pavilion seeks to reflect on ‘displacements’, understood in terms of evident inequality, environmental deterioration and the risk of disasters and violence. Displacement is referred here in relation to migration, geographical, social and cultural transformations, as well as other conditions of forced mobility.  The design of the pavilion is based on a processual and collective curatorial model, in the form of a creative laboratory, to produce new audiovisual content for a spatial experience in the pavilion and through digital means. The objective is to situate architecture in the context of social and environmental displacements that characterise our territory, while enabling new collectivities in our practices.
