GENS Public Programme: Generative AI and the Future of Learning and Making: Imitation, Bias, and Estrangement (Session II)

Generative AI does not create from nothing. It generates new expressions drawn from curated collections of precedents, thus upholding the continuity and influence of often unspoken traditions and canons.  This two-day conference will interrogate the implications of AI-driven imitation for the future of learning and creation.
