On 19 February 2026 the call for Biennale College Musica 2026, open to composers, sound artists, and performers, officially closed.
Five original and previously unreleased projects have been selected for the residency program, which will be divided into three periods: April 13-24, June 29- July 10, September 28 - October 9. These works will be produced by La Biennale di Venezia and presented as part of the 70th International Festival of Contemporary Music The Child of Sound (October 10–24, 2026), directed by Caterina Barbieri.
The selected artists will be supported throughout their artistic residency and creation process by the Artistic Director Caterina Barbieri and the mentors she has personally chosen: Camae Ayewa (Moor Mother), Thierry Coduys, Lyra Pramuk, Miller Puckette, Simone Trabucchi, Marcel Weber.
