The panel discussion, followed by archival research, investigates prosthetic infrastructure, using the city of Lviv, Ukraine, as a case study — a hub for reconstructive surgery and the adaptation of war-wounded bodies. Moderated by Mark Wasiuta in conversation with prosthetic engineers, the discussion moves through artificiality, techne, mimicry, and design, considering both body and city across micro- and macro-scales. It approaches the urban and corporeal as a field of seeing, documentation, and questioning.

Speakers:
Nazar Bagnyuk (Chief Prosthetic Engineer at the Unbroken Rehabilitation center, Ukraine), Anton Kolomiets (Chief Architect, Lviv, Ukraine), David Serlin (Professor of Communication, UC San Diego, USA), Volodymyr Rudkovskiy(War veteran, Motivational Trainer at the Unbroken Rehabilitation center, Ukraine), Andriy Sadoviy (Mayor of Lviv, Ukraine).

Moderator:
Mark Wasiuta (Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Columbia GSAPP and Co-Director of the Critical, Curatorial and Conceptual Practices in Architecture program).
