description

The exhibition stages a nocturnal encounter between moving image, architecture and public space on the façade of Palazzo Nervi Scattolin, transforming it into an urban exhibition device.

The works enter into dialogue with the building as both interlocutor and display surface for a reflection on the present. Its ephemeral dimension counters the logic of the city-as-monument and, at night, shifts modes of engagement from consumption to encounter.

Williams presents A Travel Guide: Black Gothic in South Korean Horror, a video collage unfolding as a travel diary and auto-theoretical essay, reflecting on Black mobility, the aestheticisation of pain, and histories of militarisation.

Bennani & Barki present 2 Lizards, an animated series produced in New York during the early months of the pandemic, translating the subjective into a shared emotional landscape.

Shani presents a new edit of My Bodily Remains, giving form to an ongoing inquiry into non-sovereignty, collective embodiment, and radical affectivity.

The building and the artworks embrace deconstruction as a generative act, positioning themselves as interpreters of a shared contemporary condition. Projected onto architecture and into the nocturnal landscape, images, publicness and bodies generate a polyphonic dialogue.
