Description

In Affordable Solution for Better Living, “a work created with four hands and two feet” in three acts, a centaur half-man half-furniture builds both himself and his custom-made habitat, unique yet the same as everyone else’s, standard and personal. This is an absurd, hybrid world, between écorché body and stereotypical design, between athletic health and inner disorders, between irony and drama, humour and anxiety, which reveals the multiform contradictory face of man, frighteningly harmonious and dark at the same time, under the appearance of an everyday normalcy, ordinary and domestic, made of forms and counter-forms, construction and destruction.
