Arcadia
A lively open ground for musical experimentation, developed in collaboration with Berlin’s renowned electronic music platform SchneidersLaden, a long-standing reference point for electronic music culture and a gathering place for educational workshops and concerts in the heart of Berlin-Neukölln.
Arcadia brings music off the stage, inviting visitors to engage directly with and play a curated selection of modular synthesisers, keyboards, drum machines and oscilloscopes. Drawing on the visual language of both arcade halls and spaceships, the space reinterprets their distinctive aesthetic: the result is an environment that encourages playful exploration, where sound and visuals unfold through interaction and the act of experimentation becomes the central experience.
Open from 13 to 24 October 2026 in Sala d’Armi E at the Arsenale, the space invites Biennale Musica 2026 visitors to come together through music-making and creative imagination, fostering a shared environment for discovery, exchange and live experimentation, where no prior musical knowledge is required and an intuitive mode of interaction and being is encouraged.
