Location of the exhibition space: the house that hosted musician Marina Mauriello is now dedicated to research projects in the field of contemporary art. Located in the Cannaregio district, it overlooks a wide rio terà between Ca’ d’Oro and Fondamenta Nuove. The space has an independent entrance and is arranged over two levels. On the ground floor, there is a studio of approximately 20 sqm. with direct access to the calle, an artist laboratory/workspace, and a bathroom. On the upper floor, there is a large hall of approximately 40 sqm. with a ceiling height of 3 meters, suitable for exhibitions, meetings, and research activities, offering complete freedom for installations and hanging works. An internal guesthouse is also available, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms to support artist residencies.
The residency is not a traditional hospitality venue, but a space designed to welcome artists, curators, researchers, musicians, and cultural professionals, offering a private and immersive environment dedicated to the development of creative and research projects. The guesthouse is available exclusively within the framework of the artist residency activities.
How to get there / Transport of the works of art: Actv vaporetto line 1, stop: Ca’ d’Oro; water access from the Grand Canal. The space is currently not accessible to people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.
Facilities: studio/atelier, large hall, bathrooms, laboratory space for artistic production.
