ART AND CREATIVITY 9 May – 27 September
Venue: Giardini and/or Arsenale Activity with Workshop

The Biennale Arte 2026 invites us to decelerate and listen to "minor keys": whispered voices, gentle gestures, and invisible narratives that possess the power to mend the world.
The workshop is conceived as a creative journey to transform the musical and poetic concept of "In Minor Keys" into a visual and cognitive experience.
Objectives: to recognise the value of detail and the significance of the minute. To sensitise the eye to capture what is not immediately evident. To reflect on art as a medium to "mending" and fostering connections with others. The activity is tailored to the specific age group.

NARRATED PATHS
Venue: Giardini and/or Arsenale
Itinerant Experience and Creative Writing

"Narrated Paths" constitutes both a guided tour and an active investigation. Inspired by the theme of the 61st International Art Exhibition, the workshop invites students to become active spectators and "biographers" of the works and spaces. Through an approach that prioritises listening and the observation of "minor" details, the path winds through the pavilions like a thread stretched between the visual image and the written word.
Objective of the activity: to identify one’s own "minor key" (personal and intimate) as a means of relating to the complexity of the external world.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY WORKSHOPS
Pre-school and Primary School (Years 1, 2, and 3)

WEAVING SOUNDS (Trame di Suoni) 26 May – 5 June
Art and Music §
Venue: Arsenale, activity with workshop

During this activity, children will collaborate to devise "sound stories", constructing light, mysterious, and surprising worlds using musical instruments, found objects, and their own bodies. The workshop serves as a generative and shared space where every gesture contributes to the creation of a collective imagination.  It is a playful and immersive experience that harmonises art and music, stimulating creativity, active listening, and collaboration. It enables every child to express themselves freely while feeling integral to a collective creative process.
