Happiness 2.0: Social Media Use, AI and Well-being in Adolescence Venue: Giardini della Biennale

As part of the 61st International Art Exhibition, In Minor Keys curated by Koyo Kouoh, the IBSA Foundation for Scientific Research offers an experiential workshop that explores how social media and artificial intelligence influence emotions and well-being, particularly during adolescence. ART AND MUSIC

13 to 23 October
Sound Routes
Venue:
 Arsenale

Much like an archipelago of diverse yet connected islands, this workshop invites participants to build a soundscape made of encounters, crossings and non-hierarchical relationships. Through listening and improvisation, music unfolds as a shared journey, capable of transforming space through rhythm, movement and the physical presence of the participants. Minor keys become the starting point for exploring vulnerability, opacity, tension and new possibilities for connection. (Available in Italian and English)

ART AND DANCE

3 to 13 November
The Upside-Down World
Venue:
 Arsenale

This workshop invites students to reflect on the relationship between the individual and the community, exploring the transformative power of collective action. Through artistic, performative and collaborative practices, participants will experience how even the smallest gesture can become the driving force behind shared change. Contemporary art and dance thus become a space to challenge established patterns, imagine new possibilities and recreate new forms of connection, participation and belonging. (Available in Italian and English)

ART AND THEATRE

16 to 20 November
Extraordinary Assembly
Venue:
 Arsenale

A workshop where theatre becomes a space for experimentation and a tool for imagining the future. Drawing inspiration from selected works at the Biennale Arte 2026, participants are invited to build a temporary community complete with characters, rules, alliances, conflicts and transformations. Through dramatic play, improvisation and collective creation, the students will explore how individual choices can impact the group and how dialogue can spark new ways of connecting. It is an opportunity to imagine possible scenarios together and use theatre to shape an ever-changing present that becomes the future. Activewear/comfortable clothing is recommended. (Available in Italian and English)
