Location of the exhibition space: the Sale monumentali (Monumental Rooms) are the ancient Library of San Marco, designed by Jacopo Sansovino and completed by Vincenzo Scamozzi. The historic library is nowadays a museum and venue for temporary exhibitions and events.
How to get there / Transport of the works of art: Actv vaporetto lines 1 and 2 (stops: S.Marco Vallaresso and/or S.Zaccaria); the Sale Monumentali are accessed from the Correr Museum entrance. Docking for transporting artworks is available on the bank opposite the Antica Zecca building (St. Mark's Basin).
