Based on Marc-Antoine Laugier’s theory of the Primitive Hut, Looking Back the Past explores the anthropological relationship between humans and the natural environment. Inspired by Bernard Rudofsky’s Architecture Without Architects, it embraces local know-how and a deep geographical relationship with context. These principles are a bridge between the past and the future, foster coexistence between architecture and nature, focus on low-tech solutions, and embrace the circular economy.
