Through the evocative spaces of the Museum of Natural History, the large green roof that breathes, and the successful coexistence of outreach activities and research, the new headquarters of the California Academy of Sciences wanted to use architecture to convey their passion for knowledge of nature and the fact that the earth is fragile.
