The spatial form and materiality of the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum are a contemporary translation of local traditional brick kilns. The museum aims to rediscover the contemporaneity hidden in Jingdezhen’s history, and to construct an experimental and critical approach on contemporary architecture based on the vision of intelligent, natural, cultural, and ecological sustainability.
