Synopsis

George and Teresa, a couple whose home can only be reached by a causeway, are confronted by two gangsters, Richard and Albie, resulting in a succession of emotional and sexual power plays.

Director’s Statement

Gérard [Brach] and I had written a black comedy about three characters condemned to close proximity under isolated conditions – a study in neurosis with the thriller conventions turned upside down.
