Description

Kaynuna explores the dissonance between space, time, and matter in shaping environments, reflecting social, political, and economic influences. It critiques Kuwait’s architectural evolution, where modernisation erodes vernacular heritage, favouring demolition over adaptation. The project proposes a reclamation framework integrating cultural values with sustainable methodologies, bridging theory and practice to create resilient, localised development. Kaynuna envisions a hybrid approach that transcends conventional metrics by redefining identity beyond aesthetics, fostering a dynamic, intentional infrastructure for future growth.
