The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) is a centre of education, research, and innovation that envisions, designs, and prototypes the future from Barcelona. IAAC’s new headquarters in Barcelona embodies a vision of architecture as a tool for innovation, collective intelligence, and regenerative future. Housed in a former industrial warehouse, the project transforms a historic building into a living prototype of advanced architectural practices developed over the past decade at IAAC. Building as Collective Prototyping presents the IAAC’s new headquarters as a 1:10 exploded model.
