Over the course of two millennia, an organic relationship has developed between Neapolitans and a labyrinthine network of underground aqueducts growing underneath the city. An Urbanism of Emergent Intelligence follows ongoing efforts to reappropriate the now abandoned—but still wet— system of aqueducts as a community asset to help harness Naples’s unique ecological future.
