Forest Gens is a critical cartography that reveals the extent of the anthropogenic transformations in Amazonia. From the expanse of present societies’ footprint to the outcome of centuries-old territorial imprints, it presents the region as a complex, human-shaped landscape rather than a homogeneous pristine forest.
