Call for applications

We are looking for 6 cross-media or multidisciplinary international projects to be developed through the Biennale College – Blend programme. The selected projects should be at the concept stage, rooted in an audiovisual element and incorporate at least two other art forms (such as music, visual arts, dance, theatre, design, or role-playing).

The Call for Projects opens on July 1st 2027, and will close on  October 19th 2026 (23:59 CET). It is open to teams composed of an artist and a member of the producing team from all over the world both with aged between 18 and 30 (on the call deadline date).

There is no participation fee. Accommodation is offered for the selected teams; all participants must cover their own travel expenses for the workshop and any related events they are invited to attend.

A Biennale College Blend Award of € 20,000 will be awarded to the most compelling and creatively structured project, with the award potentially presented in the context of La Biennale activities. Selected teams will sign an agreement with La Biennale to confirm their commitment to the entire Biennale College Blend process.
