Quelques instants de bonheur
Synopsis
After fleeing Beirut for Paris, a young filmmaker finds herself in limbo, watching Lebanon fall under Israeli bombardment from the far side of a screen. In a state of paralysis, barely able to get out of bed, she calls her father everyday and begins recording her digital life.
Director’s Statement
History is told the way childhood is, as a fable, to those willing to believe it, to those who do not remember their own. But I remember my childhood perfectly. For a quarter of a century, as they say, I observed, always at a distance.
