Description
Flocking Tejas is an emergent and adaptable architectural system that arises from questioning the architectural and construction qualities of clay tiles. It examines how, over time and across various cultures, their use has often been limited to construction systems with seemingly static, predictable, and flat organizational principles. Utilizing contemporary design techniques, this project instead seeks to explore new spatial and formal repertoires that reimagine and enhance the usage and possibilities of traditional materials.
