Fabbrica dell’Aria is an installation that harnesses plant intelligence to purify indoor air. Acting as a “breathing bio-machine,” it uses the patented Stomata® system to direct air through a substrate where plant roots and beneficial bacteria degrade pollutants. The purified air is then released, with advanced sensors monitoring real-time air quality and optimising system performance. Combining nature and technology, Fabbrica dell’Aria creates healthier indoor environments by reducing pollutants like VOCs. It also promotes a sustainable connection between humans and the plant world, offering a tangible solution to improve air quality and well-being in enclosed spaces.
