Radical mutants and hopeful monsters as described in evolutionary biology are an important lesson in how to mitigate global warming. The masterplan for Hangzhou emulates nature’s adaptability and efficiency, featuring a series of new hybrid taxonomies that are at once resilient, resource-efficient, and beneficial to both humans and non-humans.
