Synopsis
A young girl finds solace in her friendship with another girl of a similar name, who embodies the dreams she has suppressed. However, her aspirations are challenged by her mother’s past, which mirrors her own struggles and traps her in a cycle of despair.
Director’s Statement
I have been an actress for nearly thirty years. Storytelling has always been something I am passionate about. I have also had the privilege of serving on the juries of international film festivals multiple times. The process of appreciating outstanding works has inspired my creative desire, leading me to begin writing the script for Nühai. This will be an artistic drama film, and I hope it resonates with audiences.
