Andrea Salustri - Invisible
Description
Invisible invites us to turn our gaze towards the immaterial, towards elements such as light and air, wind and fog, allowing the invisible choreographies that surround us to emerge.
Andrea Salustri, a transdisciplinary artist trained in both circus arts and choreography, pursues a research practice that explores the creative potential of inanimate matter, developing a highly original language.
“To dance with air and light is to dance with the invisible. It is to stand at the edge of what can be perceived, to listen to what has no voice, to move with what cannot be held. What if dance itself were only a way of making the unseen visible, for just a moment, before it disappears again?”
Following Materia — a pas de deux between body and object that captivated audiences at Biennale Danza 2023 — Salustri’s Invisible offers a renewed perspective on the ephemeral nature of dance.
