New Zealand choreographer of Māori descent Oli Mathiesen is the winner of the Biennale Danza 2026 international call for a new choreographic creation.

This piece blends text, movement and captivating stage illusions in which rhythm reverses, gravity disappears and the laws of nature dissolve.

This is not a performance to be observed from afar: spectators are an integral part of the show, free to move and shape the performance alongside the dancers.
