Presentation of the book by Wayne McGregor, We Are Movement: Unlocking Your Physical Intelligence: 22 July at Ca’ Giustinian, 5 pm.

The 20th International Festival of Contemporary Dance, titled Time Does Not Exist and directed by Sir Wayne McGregor, will go onstage from 17 July to 1 August.

A series of films on dance from 27-30 July featuring three films by the great American documentarist and one by Elliot Caplan.

The Festival includes workshops both for specialists and open to everyone, alongside a schedule of meetings and conversations with the artists featured.

On view from 17 July to 1 August in the Sala d’Armi E at Arsenale.

The Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement goes to the Australian company Bangarra Dance Theatre. The South African dancer, choreographer, director and activist Mamela Nyamza is the recipient of the Silver Lion.
