Biennale College Teatro / Jacopo Giacomoni - Tacet

Description
Tacet is a chorus of silences around one of the few secular rites we have left: the minute of silence. It’s a museum of silences, an observatory of silences, in which there is no silence at all. It’s a collection of missed, overlapping hiatuses whose duration is punctuated by numbers and which strive towards a collective gesture, one to be completed with the audience.
Tacet is a cartography of time, a theatrical score made up of four movements that play with the metronome. It’s a search for what it means to be together, in silence, inside a single minute, inside a theatre.
