For this new production of Symphony of Rats, The Wooster Group began first by taking Richard Foreman’s highly inventive theatrical language and putting it into poetic metre. Then they added balls, songs, videos, movies, paintings, recycled props from their past work, and nascent AI tools.

A sound performance-party which becomes action and performance, liquefying and expanding into sound, blurring the boundaries between self and other, here and elsewhere.
