“In order to encourage and foster dialogue between theatre and cinema, I have asked practitioners at this year’s Festival to contribute to the programme by suggesting a film or documentary that depicts a creative process, reveals its unseen details, or documents the development of a production – all with the aim of gaining a better understanding of what theatre is today”.
