Monumental Ground addresses the movements of earth that take place during huge construction activities such as the AlpTransit railway (1999– 2020). The drawings featured interpret major material disposal sites that simultaneously refer to their past, present, and future, as well as the altered relations between the underground and aboveground, between human interventions, geological processes, and natural codes.
