Sidewalk Labs was Alphabet’s urban innovation company focused on building an affordable, equitable, and carbon-neutral community by utilising privacy-centric technology in Toronto, Canada. The project envisioned tall timber construction using Canadian lumber, geothermal and sewage heat capture, direct-current digital electricity, automated package deliveries, and advanced water and waste recycling systems.
