Fog-X is a wearable system that collects potable water from fog, mist, and rain. Its deployable sail-like structure uses Raschel mesh to capture water droplets, channeling up to 10 liters per square metre into an integrated bladder. Designed for extreme environments, Fog-X doubles as an emergency shelter, ensuring functionality in disaster-prone areas. The Fog-X app enhances usability by guiding users to the best fog-harvesting locations based on realtime weather data. By encouraging feedback, the app fosters a participatory network, creating a shared database of water collection points. Fog-X reimagines resource management, offering a decentralised, community-driven approach to water accessibility.
